Auckland
On arrival, seat in coach guests will be met and privately transferred to hotel. Self drive guests will collect a rental car and drive to the hotel.

Auckland – Waitomo- Matamata – Rotorua
Travel south past rolling green hills and lush pastureland to Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Enjoy a guided tour of the weird and wonderful limestone formations and a magical boat ride under thousands of twinkling glowworms. Continue to Matamata and visit Hobbiton Movie Set for a guided tour of ‘Middle Earth’. Continue to Rotorua.
Auckland - Waitomo - Matamata - Rotorua: 370km (approx. 4hrs,50 mins) Overnight at any good hotel.
Day3
Rotorua
Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mud pools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit the Agrodome farm tour for a New Zealand farm show before continuing to Rainbow Springs to see New Zealand’s trout, birds and wildlife. This afternoon is at leisure to experience some of Rotorua’s other attractions. This evening enjoy an authentic Maori Hangi (feast) and Concert. Overnight at any good hotel.
